Dr Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science and HDE from the University of Cape Town. As well as Honours, Master of Science (cum laude) and PhD (UWC). Dr Johnson was a post-doctoral Fellow (Oregon Health Sciences University) and a visiting Scholar (Harvard). Professor Johnson’s disciplinary expertise relates to indigenous knowledge systems that touches land, heritage and human rights.
