Her leadership role was recognised in 2016 when she was awarded The Abe Bailey Travel Bursary by The Abe Bailey Trust to visit the African Union Headquarters in Ethiopia and the UK .She also participated in the IMPALA Project as the mobility toolkit leader for her university. She served as a secretariat for the 14^th International SANORD Conference hosted by University of Limpopo in 2022. She is a volunteer at GIRLEADA (an NPO that focuses of developing authentic leadership in young women) as a P.R and Marketing Officer.
