Agnaldo Arroio is Associate Professor at the School of Education – University of São Paulo, Brazil. Current President of the USP School of Education International Office. He holds a degree in Chemistry from USP; PhD in Chemistry from USP, Image and Sound: Audiovisual Production from UFSCar and Degree in Teaching Methodology from USP.

He has experience in the area of Chemistry, Communication and Education, currently with projects on Media and Scientific Literacy. UNIVESP – Virtual University of São Paulo, cooperation as professor and supervisor. Representative of South America and twice President at IOSTE – International Organization for Science and Technology Education; Education Director – ABQ – Brazilian Chemistry Association, Director of International Affairs – ABQ; Coordinator of DINTER – Interinstitutional Doctorate – UFPI-FEUSP. Internationally, he was consultant and teacher trainer for the ProForsa I and II Project in Mozambique by JICA – Japan International Cooperation Agency; Visiting Professor at Siauliai University – Lithuania by Erasmus; Visiting Beijing Normal University – China and Hiroshima University – Japan by INEI – International Network of Education Institutes; Visiting at the University of KwaZulu-Natal – South Africa by PAME-CAPES-Brazil. He is a member of the editorial board of indexed journals and editor-in-chief of Problems of Education in the 21st Century.
